This is from a VHS of the 9th Annual Hawthorne Air Faire in 1992. I focused here on the MiG-29 which is seen departing off of a Runway that is less than 5000ft. I've heard a rumor, probably no way of verifying that the departure and flyby seen here where it goes vertical was done without the permission of the Tower. Supposedly ATC said to only climb to a certain altitude to avoid LAX arrivals and departures and the request was blown by the pilots who were told once they arrived that they are not welcome back to HHR.
